Affirming Autism & ADHD Assessments

Is It ADHD? Autism? Or Sensory Overload?

For many women, ADHD or autism doesn’t look like what we were taught to expect. It’s not always bouncing off the walls or avoiding eye contact — it’s often overthinking, masking, burning out, and wondering why everyday life feels so hard.

Maybe you’ve always felt a little out of step — like you were working twice as hard to hold it all together. You might find yourself constantly overstimulated, emotionally drained, or unsure why managing simple tasks (or big emotions) feels so overwhelming.

The truth?
ADHD and autism often show up very differently in women, especially those juggling the invisible mental load of parenting, partnering, caregiving, or just keeping up with life.

The Mental Load Makes It Louder

Stress, sensory overload, emotional labor — these things don’t just “co-exist” with neurodivergence, they amplify it. Many of the women I work with didn’t start questioning ADHD or autism until adulthood, when the weight of expectations became too heavy to carry quietly.

And — self-diagnosis is real and valid. If you’ve been wondering, that’s worth paying attention to.

Why Assessment Can Help

Getting an assessment isn’t about labeling or limiting you — it’s about understanding how your brain actually works, and offering real language for what you’ve always felt.

Our assessment process is collaborative, affirming, and never pathologizing. We offer both partial and full evaluations, depending on your needs. Whether you’re looking for clarity, accommodations, or just peace of mind, we’re here to walk that path with you.

Community

Oftentimes, getting an assessment brings up equal parts of validation and grief. For over half of my clients (and my own personal experience), I never questioned my neurotype until I supported a child navigating this process. When you complete an assessment with me, you also get access to my free course, You’re Not a Hot Mess — A Mini Course for Women with Late-Diagnosed ADHD/ASD. For those of us that spent years wondering why we can’t “just get it together,” this course is for you. Learn the real reasons behind procrastination, burnout, and overwhelm—and walk away with doable strategies for working with your brain.
