Perinatal Therapy

Parents who want to create something new and trust their wisdom (the cycle-breakers)

Parenting is perhaps one of the greatest mirrors into our own experiences and souls. Every stage brings unique joys and challenges. Maybe you are expecting and unsure of how past trauma will affect your birthing experience? Does your toddler’s loud noises tend to make your skin crawl and you wonder where that reaction came from? Do you cringe when your children rough house because it reminds you of an older sibling making you feel unsafe? Maybe the idea of caring for a child remind you of your own parent’s overwhelm, abuse, or shortcomings.

These are all memories are bodies have. Our childhood experiences are our oldest memories, often left beneath the surface until our own perinatal journey reminds our bodies and minds of these experiences.

Perinatal therapy helps you explore these deep experiences, feel more confident, and develop a full body wisdom essential for birth and beyond

“When a woman finally learns that pleasing the world is impossible, she becomes free to learn how to please herself.”
